YPOPs! and IncrediMail Xe

Select Tools -> Accounts
Select Add
Select the Radio Button by the line that says "Let me configure settings myself. Click o$n the "Next" button
Enter your name in the top window and your Yahoo email address in the bottom window. Click o$n the "Next" button
Enter "localhost" in the window for the "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server" window. Click o$n the "Next" button
Enter your Yahoo user name and password in the appropriate windows and click o$n the "Finish" button, then the "OK" button
Highlight the account that you just created in the accounts window and click the "Properties" button. Rename the Account from "localhost" to "Yahoo Mail"
Select the "Servers" tab at the top of the window and check the box by the line that says "My Server Requires Authentication"
Click o$n the "Advanced" tab and under "Delivery" uncheck the box that says "Leave a copy of messages o$n server", then click o$n the "OK" button. and close the window

YPOPs! and Calypso 3.x

Right Click o$n Accounts at select 'Add Account'
In the 'Email Account Information' page, enter a name for the account, your name and your full Yahoo! email address
Click Next.
In the 'Incoming Mail Server' page, select POP3 as the mail server type. Enter your Yahoo! login id as the User id for the incoming server and your incoming server as 'localhost'
Click Next.
In the 'Incoming Mail Server Password' page, select 'Normal' as the password authentication method.
Click Next.
In the 'Incoming Message Action' page, select 'Delete Messages from Server'
Click Next.
In the 'Outgoing Mail Server' page, enter localhost as the mail server.
Select 'User supplied' as the authentication method for the SMTP server. Click o$n 'User Info' and enter your Yahoo email address as the username and your Yahoo Mail password as the password.
Click Next and then Finish.
Now that an account has been created, selec the account from the Accounts list and right-click o$n it and select Properties. Go to the 'Mail Server' tab, and increase the 'Seconds before connect timeout' and 'Seconds before send/receive timeout' to 1000.

YPOPs! and Mozilla Mai

Click Edit-> Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings
Click Add Account button
Choose Email account. Click Next
Type name and email address in the boxes. Click Next
Choose POP and type 'localhost' as the incoming server.
Type 'localhost' as the outgoing mail server.
Type your Yahoo user name. Click Next
Type the account name you want displayed in Mozilla Mail and click Next.
Verify the information and click Finish.

Enable authentication for outgoing mail. Provide your Yahoo email address as username and your Yahoo Mail password as the password.

The first time you try to access the account, Mozilla will ask for a password and if you want Mozilla to remember the password.

YPOPs! and Outlook Express

Select Tools -> Email accounts from the main menu
Select Add a new email account and click o$n Next
Select POP3 as the Server Type. Click Next
Enter your username and full Yahoo! email address under 'User Information'
Enter your Yahoo! Login id and password under 'Logon Information'
Enter 'localhost' as your Incoming mail server
Enter 'localhost' as the Outgoing mail server
Click o$n the More Settings button and select the Advanced tab
Increase the Server Timeout to 'Long' (5 minutes)
Select the Outgoing Server tab
Enable "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Select "Log o$n using" and enter your Yahoo Mail address as the username and your Yahoo Mail password as the password.
Click Ok to close the More Settings dialog
Click Next and then Finish

YPOPs! and nPOP
Select Account -> Add
Enter a name for the account
Enter 'localhost' as your POP3 server
Enter your Yahoo! email address and your Yahoo! login password
In the SMTP tab, enter 'localhost'
Verify the information and click OK

YPOPs! and Outlook XP

Select Tools -> Email accounts from the main menu
Select Add a new email account and click o$n Next
Select POP3 as the Server Type. Click Next
Enter your username and full Yahoo! email address under 'User Information'
Enter your Yahoo! Login id and password under 'Logon Information'
Enter 'localhost' as your Incoming mail server
Enter localhost as the SMTP server as your outgoing mail server
Click o$n the More Settings button and select the Advanced tab
Increase the Server Timeout to 'Long' (10 minutes)
Select the Outgoing Server tab
Enable "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Select "Log o$n using" and enter your Yahoo Mail address as the username and your Yahoo Mail password as the password.
Click Ok to close the More Settings dialog
Click Next and then Finish
